As my daughter returns to school so many things get extra busy in my life again.
With all the homework and school functions it's hard to put my thoughts to work for me many times. Each morning I find myself wondering what to do for lunch. But not this year, I've decided to stay ahead of the game and write ideas down. I've also consulted my daughter about what she'd like to see and with her input she'll help put the lunches together.
Some of my daughter's favorite lunch box ideas:
1. cut up fruit with yogurt to dip
2. banana with chocolate- cut up a banana and squeeze a small amount of Trader Joes midnight moo on top!
3.hummus with tortilla's or flat bread triangles.
4. instead of bread use a tortilla and wrap the fixing inside this. kids seem to like this method much better.
5. crackers, salami and cheese (seems simple but sometimes we forget the simple things.
Enjoy the school year and check back for more kid friendly recipes.
Any recipe ideas post them! Love to hear what others are doing
